Description
This gingerbread cake is one of the more remarkable things we’ve ever made. It’s dark, rich, spicy, and impossibly moist, and somehow imbued with a shelf-life that is measured in months, not days. We’re not 100% sure of the science behind that last part (we’ve not ruled out witchcraft, tbqh), but our best guess is that the hefty portion of good beer from our friends across the street at Tie & Timber Brewing Company has something to do with it. It’s not a looker of a loaf, but it more than makes up for it when you take a bite.
