Kenya Silverback White Tea

$12.00$35.00

Delicate white tea flavor with notes of honey, roasted nuts and Madagascar vanilla.

Description

Silverback White Tea is a true rarity among teas, and is believed to be one of the rarest teas in the world. Named after the magnificent Silverback Gorillas that can be found in the region, this ultra-premium loose leaf Kenyan white tea is made from only the choicest white tips, flushed by highly specialized tea bushes in the valley’s cool early mornings. Hand-plucked, hand-rolled and dried naturally, less than 1400lbs of this tea are made on an annual basis. The result is a beautifully subtle tea that opens widely with delicate notes of honey, roasted nuts, and Madagascar vanilla leading to a long, smooth finish. For long-time tea tasters and new tea enthusiasts alike, Silverback White Tea is a revelation that will leave a lasting impression.
